4. Safety Features & Data

Our core safety features require specific data processing:

• Ride Deviation Detection: We continuously compare actual routes against expected paths. This data is processed in real-time and retained for 30 days.
• Live Location Sharing: When you share your ride with trusted contacts, they receive your real-time location, driver details, and ETA. This sharing ends when the ride is completed.
• Emergency Integration: In an emergency, your GPS coordinates, ride details, and driver information may be shared with emergency services automatically.

5. Information Sharing

We may share your information with:

• Drivers or riders matched with you for a ride
• Emergency services when safety features are triggered
• Your designated emergency contacts during active rides
• Hotel partners when you book accommodation through us
• Payment processors to facilitate transactions
• Law enforcement when required by Nigerian law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Ride history is retained for 12 months. Safety-related data (route deviations, incidents) may be retained longer for legal and safety purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
